LDLA AGM - 6pm Monday 3rd June 2013

 Modifications to time & venue - House of Lords Committee Room 1, 6pm Monday 3rd June 2013, (Lord McNally speaking at 6pm to be followed by LDLA AGM - Registration from 5.30PM)

 Please note the changes in time and venue of the AGM as above

Tom McNally (Lord McNally) will be speaking at 6pm on the MoJ Consultation Paper  on Criminal Legal Aid by questions. The AGM will follow (anticipated about 7pm).

Registration will commence at 5.30pm. Please leave enough time to pass through security and register.
  
You may re-join at the door, but in view of the additional work this involves, you will be asked to make a contribution to the Paul Smales Fund to help  students etc  attend our events.  If you are not certain about your membership status, please bring your bank details to complete a standing order form.

Membership Activities

  • The annual weekend conference is held in the spring, usually during the Easter vacation at an Oxbridge college. Leading academics, practitioners, Liberal Democrat MP's and peers participate. A guest speaker is invited to dinner on the Saturday evening. All members are welcome. Guests are welcome at the dinner.
  • Fringe meetings are organised to discuss and often to debate legal issues of topical interest at the Liberal Democrats' spring and autumn conference.
  • The 80 Club lecture is delivered in London by a prominent speaker, often from outside the Liberal Democrats.
  • The Association's Annual Dinner is a significant social event, usually held in late January. Members are welcome to bring guests.
  • There are opportunities throughout the year to participate in the Association's policy-making activities.
